The Western Oregon University was established in 1856. It is a public university located in Monmouth, Oregon. The university, with a total enrollment of 4900 students, offers the associates degree, bachelors degree, post baccalaureate certificate and masters degree programs in over 50 disciplines. All academic programs, which include Anthropology, Business, Commerce, Criminal Justice, Economics, Mathematics, Deafness, Social Science, Physical Education, Sociology and Biological & Physical Science, etc, span across the College of Liberal Arts & Science and the College of Education.
