The University of St. Thomas, founded in 1885 by Archbishop John Ireland, is a Catholic, independent university at St. Paul, Minnesota. The University has four primary campuses: St. Paul, Minneapolis, Daniel C. Gainey Conference Center in Owatonna and Bernardi Campus in Rome, Italy. It offers around 90 study-abroad programs in 40 countries. The study programs at the university are offered through The Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Applied Professional Studies, Graduate Programs in Software, Opus College of Business, the Schools of Engineering, Law and Social Science and the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
