Prairie View A and M University is a public school that was founded in 1876 and is located in Prairie View, Texas. Approximately 8,400 students are enrolled in the bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The University operates out of 9 schools, namely, the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences, School of Architecture, College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology, College of Nursing, Graduate School, Marvin D. and June Samuel Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences, and Whitlowe R. Green College of Education.
