Michigan State University was founded in 1855 and is located in East Lansing, Michigan. It is a public university with over 46,045 students of which 9,973 students are enrolled in postgraduate programs and nearly 36,072 students are in undergraduate programs. The university comprises of 17 degree-granting colleges that offer more than 200 programs of study. Some of the programs on offer are: special education, kinesiology, educational psychology, teacher education, packaging, music therapy, hospitality business, telecommunication, counseling, etc.
