Jacksonville State University was set up in 1883 and is situated at Jacksonville, Alabama. It is a public university and offers various masters and bachelors programs in communication, engineering and technology, family and consumer science, business, liberal arts, computer science, drama, music, nursing, social work and family sciences. The university comprises of the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Commerce and Business Administration, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and College of Education and Professional Studies.
