Hunter College, located in Manhattan, is a large public college in the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Founded in 1870, currently around 21,000 students attend the College, pursuing both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Hunter College's academic programs cover fields ranging from adolescent education and anthropology to urban affairs, women's studies and Yoruba. In the bachelors degree the university offers arts, fine arts, music and science and in the masters it offers arts, fine arts, music, physical therapy, public health, science, science in education and social work.
