The University of St Andrews is located in the town of St Andrews in Fife on the east coast of Scotland. The University was founded in the year 1413 and has a student population of more than 7,200 students. The various departments include art history, biology, chemistry, classics, computer science, divinity, economics and finance, English, film studies, geography and geosciences, history, international relationships, management, mathematics, medicine, modern languages, philosophical and anthropological film studies, physics and astronomy, psychology, music and drama, and anthropology.
