The University of Southampton was established in 1862 as the Hartley Institution. It is located in Southampton, England and comprises of nearly 20,000 students. The University consists of 3 faculties which encompass various schools, namely, Engineering, Science and Mathematics; Law, Arts and Social Sciences; and Medicine, Health and Life Sciences. These faculties offer a range of subjects from chemistry, environmental sciences, education and law to medicine, nursing and psychology.
