The University of Maryland is well equipped in technology and services to guide students along their academic journey.  Laboratories, studios, libraries and technology tools are among the latest and most sophisticated available at any major research university.  The University’s computer facilities support more than 900 public workstations, including 24-hour computer labs available throughout the campus and even in the parking garage! Every residence hall room offers internet access.

The University of Maryland Libraries and the Library of Congress have forged a partnership to increase options for scholarly research and collaboration.  The Library of Congress has many primary and secondary resources that complement the collections of the University of Maryland Libraries. The aim of this new partnership is to facilitate access to the on-site Library of Congress collections for University of Maryland faculty and students and to encourage the integration of the scholarly research materials from both libraries into the University of Maryland course curriculum.
