Bournemouth University guarantees a place in the University managed accommodation for all new international students who apply for a room before a deadline in the middle of August. Bournemouth offers a variety of accommodation options and accommodation is well situated within a few miles of the Talbot and Lansdowne campuses and social life. Personal Support
At BU there are a wide variety of specialist support services available both prior and post arrival. Students can find information on how BU can support them from askBU, the central enquiry and student support service, and support is available from a range of departments including the Medical Centre , Dental Surgery ,Student Counselling Service, Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, and Nursery.

Careers and Placements
The Graduate Employment Service exists to provide impartial and professional information, advice and guidance to students, graduates, employers and staff. The career and placement division helps students with jobs at Bournemouth, careers advice, searching for jobs, applying for jobs, careers events, E-Quest past editions, graduate destinations, placements, school resources and specialist schemes.

Library
The library facilities at BU are extensive and offer various services to students and staff..

Diversity

Sports
BU’s Sport & Recreation service provides positive experiences through sport, recreation and physical activity to both students and the local community. To better support and provide for its customers BU has developed a new brand for sports: sportBU. SportBU provides an excellent range of facilities with something for everyone.

Students Union
The Students' Union role is to represent, help and provide services to all students at the University. Membership is automatic and free of charge. The services for students include: advice centre, clubs & societies, volunteering, the old fire station, Dylan’s bar &the loft, student representation.
