Accommodation

The RMIT Housing Advisory Service assists students in finding affordable housing close to their campus. It provides information, advice and assistance on the accommodation options available to students and other housing related matters.

The following options are available to international students:

  • Temporary accommodation- A good choice for students to stay while they are looking for somewhere more permanent to live.
  • Homestay- Apart from providing a great opportunity to learn more about the local culture, homestay providers also offer full-board, with a separate fully-furnished room, and two to three meals per day.
  • Private Hostel accommodation- a popular option for international students, students get a small furnished bedroom with access to shared bathrooms, living and recreational areas.
  • Student apartment complexes- These make for good independent living options and provide and a secure and supportive residential environment.
