I am happy with my course here, all the Professors are good. The teaching in the UK is very different from that in India, it takes some getting used to initially. On the whole, I had a very good time.
Selection process and gaining admission
I gave IELTS but it was not a prerequisite for my admission as I had a good score in class xii CBSE in English . I took coaching from British council. I referred no educational consultant. It was not easy to make a choice in first go. It was easy to get tickets to London, Heathrow. I got no discount. My university is about 2.30-3 hrs away from London by bus. I was allowed excess baggage. Immigration is easy if you have a right set of documents in your file. I had booked for the airport pick up and orientation week with my university which gave me free accommodation and free food.
University has lot scholarship for international students and especially two bioscience scholarship for Indian students.
I am happy with my course here. Professors are good. Lectures halls and it facilities are good.
I lived in a private accommodation. Sports facilities are also very good here. It is not that easy to get good part time job immediately but with time one gets. Social scene at Clifton campus is very low but city is very lively. Weather is very unpredictable and cold, windy.
Research assistant jobs are many but in any industry it is not that easy to find, but jobs here are very well paid.
