The College and the Education here is good. But compared to the Top listed colleges, I can’t bet much. We had a better education and placements. But I can’t strongly agree we had the best placements.
Selection process and gaining admission
I applied this university through my Consultancy Agency from Hyderabad. I prepared GRE/TOFEL Score and approached through Consultancy. They helped and assisted me to get an admission in this University. 3 Main factors to be followed. We should have good Bank Statement, should be prepared well for Visa Interview and also GRE/ TOFEL Score. In the Visa Interview they questioned more about Bank Balance and Financial Stability. I chose Lufthansa Airways and moved directly to Washington D.C. My Uncle who is running a business in Washington D.C picked me from Airport and dropped me to Dallas, Texas.
For College fees, I managed through an Educational Loan. So life is so balanced. Depending on availability we may get Assistant / Junior Staff / Research Analyst to Senior Professors.
Study and Life in Texas is Good. Dallas is a big IT Hub and the quality of education offered is pretty good.
Dallas is an economical city for stay and life. Any city life in Midwest is so cheap. I stayed with my friends and during my leisure hours I was doing some odd jobs. My work paid me sufficient for survival.
I was doing some Odd Jobs during my Educational life. I am not really keen towards Campus Placement Jobs. Soon after my education, I went with my uncle to manage his business. We are running Chain of Indian Restaurants in US.
