The education methodology and syllabus and professors are world class. I have studied in the US as well as Australia and I think QUT was at par if not better than my US university.
Selection process and gaining admission
No difficulty
No scholarship was available
Very challenging course and made sure I became tougher and better
At my time campus residence wasnt there so some difficulty in finding accomodation. Part-time work in resturants etc is available though students should focus on studies and not employment. A lot of students feel guilty of taking financial support from parents for education and end up doing part-time work and yet feeling frustrated at not being able to make enough money and also not being able to put in time for study and fun. One advice I can give is that you have come to study and you have the rest of your life to earn so study hard and play hard. These years will never come back so dont try to earn small amounts by working it will not make sense when you look back.
I have worked in Indian corporate sector for more than 9 years and recently quit to start my own venture. My job prospects definitely increased due to my studies.
Would you recommend your institution to future students?
