I had basially two criterias for the selection of the University... First was the Quality of education, which is brilliant in Rutgers & the second criteria was that of Credit Transfers. As I had done my diploma here in Electronics & Telecom Engg., I expected my Credits to be Transferred.... And Rutgers did offer me a 1 year waiver. So I was attracted to it.
Selection process and gaining admission
My visa interview was very interesting. The VO wanted to know why my name was so different. I told her that there is one famous Writer in the US whose name is also Rochan... He is the only famous personality having this name..... And probably I am the next famous personality...She had a good laugh!!... and I got the visa!!
I did not avail of any scholarships. My dad funded my education entirely.
Would you recommend your institution to future students?
