Bangor is a homely city and always has a friendly atmosphere. It is easy to make friends with people across a wide range of degrees. I am enjoying my time here.

This University was my first choice, mainly because of the course I wanted to study, but also because of the accommodating nature of the department who were happy to show me around when I was visiting the area on holiday. Studying Environmental Conservation at Bangor enables me to experience field trips to beautiful and environmentally sensitive areas, as well as attend varied practical classes and lectures. It really helps to get a better understanding of the subject if you can see it for real.

There is so much on offer in Bangor. There are many different clubs and societies to join and a vibrant nightlife. I especially enjoy walking in the mountains and visiting the coast, all of which are never far away.
