The US is a great place to do your masters, it gives one a global exposure. My experience at Texas A&M is good. The course work is easy and good. All the teaching facilities and faculties are good.
Selection process and gaining admission
I took GRE and TOEFL for admission application. Student visa is required (F-1) and the process was time talking but cool. I came to Houston and then my uncle drove me to the college. I flew through Emirates and they dont have special students offers. Immigration was so easy than what I heard.
Scholarship is a word, you never hear it here.
The course work is easy and good. All the teaching facilities and faculties are good.
I stay in off campus housing along with my friends. You can find on campus jobs and the international student organization also helps you in this aspect.
In the current situation finding a job is bit tough. Alumni network and the college staff help you in the process, but with current scenario it takes time to get a job.
Would you recommend your institution to future students?
