Selection process and gaining admission
I had to take tests as a part of admission process and I prepared on my own. I did not take any classes but took the advice of an educational counselor. I needed a visa and the visa interview was easy and good. I had a nice flying experience by the Qatar Airways which offered a student fare for us. I landed at the IAH airport which is about 25 miles from the university. The baggage rules were like 23*3 kg and the airlines allowed extra baggage. I did not face any immigration issues. The university did offer a Meet and Greet service.
The university offers TA, RA and GA.
I am happy with the program structure and the professors are good.
I live in an off-campus accommodation. The part-time job opportunities are not good at this time. The weather is humid. The international student society organizes various cultural events.
Would you recommend your institution to future students?
