I would say its great to be a florida gator. All the facilities are excellent.

I had to take GRE as a part of the admission process. I studied on my own. My VISA experience was good and normal. I flew by Air France, it was the worst experience I ever had, was struck up at the Paris airport for 24 hours and they din't give me a transit VISA. The airlines did not offer a student fare. My destination was Gainesville, FL. It is about 20 minutes drive from my address. The airlines did not allow excess baggage. The baggage rules were like 23*2. There was no immigration issues. The university did not offer a Meet and Greet service.

I am happy with the study program. Library, lecture halls and sports facilities are excellent.

I stay at Park 16 which is not a university accommodation. Weather, social and night life are amazing. There is an international student's society called IGSA. They indulge in getting new students acquainted to UF and in cross cultural activities.

I have no idea about job prospects now.
