I had a interesting study life there and I really enjoyed my studies.
Selection process and gaining admission
I did not give any tests. I applied for a student visa but the interview was for just like that. Generally IIT students will get easy visa. I booked tickets through Travel agent called Make my trip and flew through the Air India. It was fair and was good; I landed at Atlanta airport. It was three hours by bus. They allowed to baggage total of 30kgs. I do not have any idea bout the excess baggage. As an IIT guy, I did not face any formalities. The professor himself came to the airport o receive me.
I was happy with the program. The professors were too good. The research environment and the facilities were fine. Totally it was a nice learning environment. The College gave me the laptop or the training period and the program was really useful.
Life was interesting there. My kind advice for the people is not to go anywhere alone and always must go with friends. Make lot of friends in the University because they very well knew the safety zones.
