I joined Abbey College Birmingham from Zhejrang Province, China. I decided to take advantage of the opportunities of living in a bustling city like Birmingham and chose Abbey College because of its strong background in Maths and Physics.

I proved myself to be a very able student in High School in China and decided to broaden my educational experience and future employment prospects by studying in the UK. I joined Abbey in September 2005 on a two year A-level programme, studying Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics and achieved the top grades of A’s. I devoted a great deal of my time to my university application and with the assistance from my Abbey tutors, which made a very strong application to Cambridge University.
