The university is very good and one can learn new things and can find a awesome help from the professors to improve the career.
Selection process and gaining admission
I needed to take up IELTS. I prepared for these tests with the help of books and CDs. but, I did not use an educational counselor. I used the service of a consultancy. I was in need of a visa. There was no interview held for the visa. The tickets were quite easy to be booked. I flew Thai Airways. It was good. The airline did not offer a student fare. I landed in Perth airport. The distance to the university was around 25 Kms. The baggage rules were set by the airways. 40 kgs was allowed + 10 kg of hand luggage. I din check whether excess baggage was allowed. There was no immigration issues in the entry. Since I went alone without the concern of the university there was no offer of greet and meet.
No idea about the scholarships and tuition waivers.
I am happy with the program structure. They are good no room for improvement. The lecture halls are very big and the lecture happens in a nice and calm situation. They solve our queries anytime in the weekdays The library is a very big place nice and clam and kind find all books needed.
I am living in a house shared by four members. Not in university accommodations. No idea about jobs. The social life is fine. The night is very calm and bit scary due to darkness. The weather is very cold in winter and very hot not humid in summer. I think there is an International society.
The university has a placement cell and also people from various companies give guest lectures. If the person scores good and has good practical knowledge its easy to get placed. There is a campus placement process. No idea about its functions. Many global organizations attend not sure about the numbers. The work permit is easy if the person has the required credit points. No idea about the alumni society.
