The university is a modern one, so the infrastructure is good as well. Birmingham is the second largest and busiest city in UK, so what more do you expect?
Selection process and gaining admission
Toefl/ Ielts is a must. GMAT scores if present would really be of great advantage. Self learning for these, I feel is the best way to crack them. I applied through Study Overseas, agents at Chennai. You require a UK student visa. Visa wasn’t tough at all. Any day during peak time(especially student seasons to fly abroad) it is difficult to obtain tickets especially cheap tickets in your favorite airlines. Emirates to UK is real good. Service according to me is good as well. My destination was Birmingham International with a stop over at Dubai. Baggage allowance is strict. You will need to follow them in any airlines for that matter. We did have additional 10kg allowance, being students. We were too early to arrive at UK to experience meet and greet service from the university.
Program is hectic, for just an year course. It has been designed to cover all aspects of business, though there is room for some improvement.
I stay at private accommodation. It is close to the university and comfortable. Part time jobs needs is difficult on campus, but for off campus, you need to try hard, but you will find them soon.
