A good place to study

M.Phil
University: University Of Queensland, Australia

Overall experience

Brisbane is one of the capital cities of Australia. It is a very good city to live. The university of Queensland has very good facilities. On the whole it is a good place to study.

Selection process and gaining admission

After you get your admit then you should go for your pVA which like a Pre –visa. Then once you finish your medicals you can go ahead and block your tickets because by that time you will have a good idea of whether you visa will be issued or not.

Funding and scholarships

I got the School assistance. It covers my entire M.Phil course fee and also includes a tuition fellowship of $14,000 p.a. for which I have to put in 18 hrs of tutorship per week. As far as i know, IPRS covers the entire fees and also includes a sum for travel to the said university. I am not sure whether there is a living allowance attached with it. Mostly, it may not have that component. For that, you have to apply to your university. In addition, IPRS scholars can apply for visa without an IELTS score. IPRS covers your tution fee while MIRS provides for a living allowance. Now, you have to pay the insurance cover (usually around $300-$400).

Would you recommend your institution to future students?

Yes
