Overall experience

In our university Business Management courses are quiet good and professors are more dedicated and well experienced.

Selection process and gaining admission

Well I had to complete my IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum overall band score of 6 for the admission in my university. Well I prepared myself for the exam by first selecting an appropriate date and applied for the test through British council. I didn’t attend any IELTS coaching classes for this test as I had prepared it myself. Yes of course I had to get student visa for your studies, for which I consulted with a counselor. Visa interview that’s finest experience of mine, I had to gather all the required information for the visa procedure and it was nervous as like all at first. Easy or tuff it depends upon the individual, have referred many agencies for air travel, at last I have chosen Kingfisher airlines. This is best up to my knowledge I think so, no other airlines give the best student deal as this airlines. I started from Bangalore then reached London Heathrow airport that was a nice experience in plane. We can carry up to 40 kg, but for students it’s allowed up to 64 kg. There was a large queue for immigration purpose but it’s quite simple to finish it. Chest x ray is necessary for this purpose that was my experience about this.

Your study experience

I am very much happy with my course as it is related to transport combined with export and import of the materials. The courses I have studied provide me knowledge to improve my family business in my home country. In my university my professors are very much helpful and they voluntarily come forward to clear the doubts to the students with patience.

Your life experience

I didn’t prefer university accommodations because it’s too expensive compared to a rented house. Our lecturer halls are quiet big and silent and our library as well. Library has all the latest facilities and has more than 10000 eBooks including conference books and journals. The library is also provided with internet facilities, this helps in full access to the internet for the students in library hours. Speaking about the social scene is totally different from our country. I live in West ham which is situated in 2nd zone in London. There are more people specifically Indians. We can get all the Indian stuffs for cooking and many Indian hotels are here providing good home food. The main advantage of living in this area is the cheapest living accommodation. Talking about the temperature is quiet normal in summer and very cold during the winter season especially during the month of December.

Job prospects

I don’t think the university has any kind of placement cell specifically we have to use our talent to search for the jobs in London and since I am new to this country and I am in student visa I don’t know about the work permit process and also about the alumni network.
