The structure of the PhD is good. The professors are also good.
Selection process and gaining admission
I had to write GRE and TOEFL. IT was all self preparation. I did not attend any coaching classes. I did not attending any counseling services. I needed a visa. The visa interview experience was good. It was easy to get tickets. I flew CO. The service was good. They did not offer me a student discount fare. I landed at Houston. The university is 25 miles from the university. I was allowed 2 check in bags of 23 kgs and one hand luggage. excess baggage was allowed. I did not face any immigration issues. I was not offered a meet and greet by the university.
GA is offered.
The lecture halls are very good. The library is very good.
It is very easy to get part time jobs. I am not staying in the university accommodation. The social scene is a beauty. the night life is quite bad. It constantly rains here. There is an international student society.
I don't know about the career services. It is easy for international students to get jobs. I am not sure about alumni.
