Australian Catholic University was opened in 1991. It is a public university funded by the Australian Government. The University has six campuses all over the country, with two campuses in Sydney and four others in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Ballarat. Students are offered a choice of 3 main branches of study namely Arts and Sciences, Education, and Health studies. Programs are offered in the fields of education, health, commerce, the humanities, the sciences and technologies, and the creative arts.
