Accelerated B.S./M.S. in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

George Mason students in the BSCIE program may apply for the accelerated B.S./M.S. in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering program if they have earned 90 undergraduate credits with an overall GPA of at least 3.300, or if their GPA in ENGR and CEIE courses is at least 3.300. Students who have not yet finished 90 credits may be accepted provisionally subject to satisfactory completion of 90 credits. All other criteria for admission into the accelerated B.S./M.S. program are identical to criteria for admission into the M.S. program.
Accelerated BS Information Technology / MSSWE

The emerging field of Public and Applied Sociology, the systematic effort to engage in and solve social problems, to infuse sociological thinking into public debates and decisions, and to bring theoretical and empirical sociology into direct dialogue with the practical realities of the social world. Students will complete 3 hours of coursework leading to approval of the thesis proposal. Following approval of the thesis proposal, students will complete an additional 12 hours of dissertation research.

This five-year degree program allows academically strong students to obtain a BS and MS by successfully completing 144 credits within five academic years and one summer. Well-prepared students are admitted to this program on completion of 90 credits, take selected graduate courses during their senior year, and are able to use up to 6 graduate credits to partially satisfy requirements for the undergraduate degree.

Student?s admitted to this program may take three graduate elective sociology courses during their senior year. Which are applied both to the B.A. and M.A. The accepted student must then complete an additional 24 credits to receive the Master?s Degree.

InterArts embraces the visual arts with an inclusive vision, providing a platform to study and generate art that is consciously informed by the art and culture around us.
