Course description This MBA Accounting specialization will expand students knowledge in areas such as budget planning and control, audit and evaluation of controls, and financial measurement, documentation, and reporting. This specialization is also designed to help students to build the strategic perspective need to interact effectively with executive management and strengthen students ability to succeed in middle and senior management positions. People who pursue this specialization are often pursuing supervisory or management positions in accounting, auditing, and other financial recording and reporting functions. Entry requirementsInternational applicants must have attended an internationally recognized institution. All applicants are expected to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently. Those whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB), or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The only exception to this requirement is reserved for learners who have earned a post-secondary degree from a U.S.-accredited university. The minimum acceptable TOEFL score established by the university for admission into all programs is 550 for the paperbased test, 213 for the computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or a score of 79 for those completing the Internet-based examination. The minimum acceptable MELAB score established by the university for admission into all programs is 80, and the minimum acceptable score for the IELTS is 6.5.

Application details Applicants must complete the admission application and submit an official transcript for the highest degree conferred, as well as any post-degree course work. An evaluation of work history and achievements as demonstrated by a resume, statement of purpose and?when required by the program?letters of recommendation, and/or other relevant material may also be considered for applicants who do not meet minimum admission standards.
