The history of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore can be traced to 2000, when Singapore launched an ambitious Biomedical Sciences Initiative. The Duke-NUS administration offices and teaching rooms are located in Outram Campus at Jalan Bukit Merah, which also houses the Singapore General Hospital. The School offers a medical education program focusing on research, with a curriculum based on that of the Duke University School of Medicine, United States. The Duke-NUS School also offers an MD/PhD program.
