Southern Cross University is a public university which was established in 1994. It offers its students study programs in tourism, environmental science, health and law. It has campuses at Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads. The primary and largest centre of operations is at Lismore. The University also collaborates with a renowned Centre of Marine Sciences situated at Coffs Harbour, where SCU students of this stream can undergo specialised training. Southern Cross University offers accommodation facilities both at Coffs Harbour and at Lismore.
