Course description This degree provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the complexity of crime, to identify and evaluate the effectiveness or otherwise of the criminal justice process, and to consider new and radical alternatives for dealing with crime.

Entry requirementsStudents must have Equivalent Australian Year 12 with Units 3 and 4-a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English. A minimum of Certificate IV with at least distinction grades is required to be considered for admission. Students must also satisfy IELTS a minimum test score of 6.5 overall, at least 6.5 in Reading, Listening and at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking, Paper-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 580, a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5, Computer-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 237 in the computer-based TOEFL, an Essay Rating (ER) of at least 4.5, Internet-based TOEFL a score of at least 90 overall, a Writing score of at least 22 and no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test.
