Course description This double degree offers major studies in the theory, practice, technology and research techniques of communications together with studies in the fields of applications development and networks or business systems. Students can study electives from the wide range of disciplines offered in arts while honing more specialist skills in information technology and communications.

Entry requirementsStudents must have Australian year 12 or equivalent with Units 3 and 4-a study score of at least 25 in English (any) and a study score of at least 20 in mathematical methods (either) and in one of chemistry or physics. English, Mathematics SL or Mathematics HL or Further Mathematics SL and one of Chemistry or Physics at a minimum of grade four at standard level. Students must also satisfy IELTS a minimum test score of 6.5 overall, at least 6.5 in Reading, Listening and at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking, Paper-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 580, a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5, Computer-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 237 in the computer-based TOEFL, an Essay Rating (ER) of at least 4.5, Internet-based TOEFL a score of at least 90 overall, a Writing score of at least 22 and no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test.
