Course description This course consists of four years full-time (or the equivalent part-time). Students will need to achieve a high UAI to qualify for admission to this program. The objectives of the honours program are to enhance students' understanding of history and historiography, to provide them with the opportunity to undertake supervised research in a chosen area and to improve their academic qualifications.

Entry requirementsStudents should have a minimum IELTS (Academic English only) score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; minimum TOEFL (paper based test) score of 580 overall, with 53 listening, 52 reading, 59 structure/written expression, 5.0 TWE; TOEFL (computer based test) score of 237 overall, with 19 listening, 19 reading, 25 structure/writing and TOEFL (internet based test) score of 92 overall, with 18 listening, 17 reading, 22 writing, 22 speaking.
